Selflessly Yours’ founder Yashna Batra took the initiative to author and publish Guide On Protection Of Child Rights in India. It is a booklet containing Rights and various schemes provided by our government pertaining to children and it also contains some other important information for their well being. For the said booklet the Ministry of Child and Women development was also approached for the their guidance.
The booklet has been approved and acknowledged with letters of appreciation from the National Commission Of Protection Of Child Rights (NCPCR) and Ministry of Women and Child Development. Yashna Batra was invited by the said Ministry to present the first copy of the booklet/publication on child rights to the Hon’ble Minister of Women and Child Development, Mrs. Menaka Sanjay Gandhi on 1st October 2015.
The minister was very happy and appreciative to receive the said booklet. The Minister has appointed Yashna Batra the responsibility to show a short film “Komal” on sexual abuse, in her school and other schools in Gurgaon district. She wants Yashna Batra to monitor the responses of the audience.
