The Selflessly Yours Bangalore Board Games Brigade spent time at a Boys Home (Ages 5 to 10 years) this time armed with 10 different board games!
We have observed that underprivileged children in the schools and centers that we have visited, do get minimal help in education and daily living needs from the government. But how do we enhance other aspects of development such as team work, strategy, counting, following directions, sportsmanship, so on and so forth!? The answer was simple!
From taking turns, to following rules, collaborating , building an attention span, practicing math concepts, win and lose with grace, critical thinking…the list of benefits are endless!
We do believe that board games and their impact on the learning and social skills of young children has been greatly underestimated!
